A Christian leadership development program for young adult black men

What is UHLI?

The Urban Hope Leadership Initiative exists to develop Christian black men in the areas of leadership, discipleship, vocation and mission.

Discover what it means to be a man and a leader in all areas of your life.

Professional Development

By the end of your year in the UHLI Program, our goal is to help young Black men gain valuable work experience that can make you a better leader in your future career paths.

Spiritual Development

Through small group and one-on-one mentoring, our aim is to teach, equip, and model for you what it means to be a Christian. We have a passion for developing Godly men who love His Word, His Church, and His world.

Personal Development

We walk through key areas of responsibilities that are needed after college. We want to prepare you for practical things such as budgeting, car maintenance, purchasing a home, etc. You will also learn more about how you function as a unique individual, allowing you to connect with others in the way you were designed.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Noah Despinasse graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Sports Management Degree.
